October 2009:
FAB Tile murals are on display at Pepperoni's on County Road in Barrington RI and at their newest
location in Warren RI. Each year the newest tile murals created during our summer camp programs are
displayed permanently at both pizza restaurants. Each fall we look for new locations to display the murals
from the previous workshops. If you would like to reserve some murals for your business, send us your
name and business location and we will hang the tile murals for you.
Starbucks will debut the new murals in September 2010!
March 2010:
Shaws in Barrington RI and the Barrington Library have 3 murals going up in their main lobby this week for a month or two. Be sure
to stop by and take a look!
December 2009:
OUR NEWEST COMMUNITY PARTNER IS BRUEGGER'S BAGELS IN BARRINGTON RI!
BRUEGGER'S will display ART MURALS created with TILES painted by STUDENTS for FAB!
FAB is For Anthing But....alcohol, drugs or tobacco
BRUEGGER' S will hold a TILE PAINTING DAY on December 5th from 1-4 PM at their newest and first RI BRUEGGER'S
located on County Road in Barrington RI. Tiles painted will be mounted and displayed at this new Bruegger's.
JOIN BRUEGGER'S for their official unveiling of the finished murals on Saturday, February 6th!
February 2010:
MURALS are now on display in SEEKONK MA at GYMBOREE! If you have not tried Gymboree and you have young children it is certainly worth a look! Check out our murals in the art room as you take a tour of the facility. Gymboree in Seekonk MA is owned and operated by a Barrington resident/teacher/mother of 3. Visit them on the web to set up a meet and greet! They offer birthday parties as well as summer camp along with weekly group sessions. We highly recommend this activity!
December 2009:
STARBUCKS on County Road in Barrington RI will be hosting a FAB(for anything but...alcohol, drugs or tobacco) fundraiser.
All profit from the sale of MERMAID MURALS will BENEFIT THE FAB AFTERSCHOOL ART ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS!
Fab runs ART in the AFTERNOON at our facility or your school or facility. The money raised by our art sale will offset some of the
materials fees so we may continue to offer ART WORKSHOPS at a reduced rate! We appreciate your support in this community effort!
Also the sale of all cookie cutter ornaments, painted by you or painted by us benefits FAB as well! Our ornaments make wonderful gifts,
or great to keep for yourself and hang on your tree!
