FAB Memorial Day Parade HAT CONTEST $100 in cash prizes $150 in GC's!
Are you marching in the Barrington RI Memorial Day Parade? Want to win $100 in Cash prizes and Gift certificates to local shops? And this year a $100 GC to Art by You at Weirdgirl Creations Pottery Studio to the troop with the most enthusiasm and help us raise awareness? Great!
Decorate or make a hat, try to stick with a red, white and blue theme for Memorial Day, try to reuse materials around the house, we love recylcled goods, be sure the word FAB is boldly stated on the hat and our slogan DO GOOD THINGS! Have fun! We will have volunteers along the parade route and will award $100 in cash and $150 in Gift Certificates from local businesses at the end of the parade route! FAB stands for "For Anything But...alcohol, drugs or tobacco" which should be written on the HAT!
FAB is about raising awareness and aiding in prevention. The message is that kids, teens and adults can have a full, rich social life without substances. Show your FAB support, wear your ART statement FAB/DO GOOD THINGS and spread the word! Because the best way to FEEL GOOD is to DO GOOD THINGS!

At the close of the parade we will have FAB representatives at a designated area to get each participants name, contact phone number, and take a picture of each winning hat for our press release and facebook pages! The best FAB HAT takes the $50 cash prize and 2 runners up take $25 cash each! (more winners!) Plus gift certificates to a Orange Leaf in Seekonk MA, Eskimo King in Swansea MA and Piezonni's in Barrington & Warren RI!
And this year we will offer another prize! The Troop with the most participants (most enthusiasm) will will a $100 Gift Certificate for Paint your Own Pottery at our studio, Art by You at Weirdgirl Creations Pottery Studio!
