FAB (for anything but..alcohol, drugs or tobacco) Tile Murals

FAB TILE MURALS! Students and adults paint their hobby or activity or saying on a 6" tile. Tiles are mounted in groups of 12 on plywood creating mini movable murals. Our tile murals are presently on display in PEPPERONIS in BARRINGTON RI and the new PEPPERONIS in WARREN RI.Murals will be created and displayed in a variety of locations in PROVIDENCE in the near future.  The murals recently completed a month long display at STARBUCKS in BARRINGTON RI.  We work with Church Youth Groups as well in surrounding areas of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. This summer we have sponsored events in the community for MET LIFE,murals for the First Congregational Church in Little Compton,
The Wolf School Providence RI, Family Tile Night at Miron J. Francis School in Rehoboth, and Providence College.  We  provided tile painting at a nationally hosted alcohol free event at Bryant College for YOUTH TO YOUTH, and tile murals were created for the
Bayside Family YMCA in Barrington RI.

Would you like some tile murals to beautify your business or office?We donate our art murals at your request. You may purchase a finished mural created by students for a $95 donation to FAB.  We provide the wall hanger as well. They look even more awesome when displayed in a group of 2 or 3! Feel free to call us and we will deliver your murals to you! This is a reduced fee for murals which reflect our web site and include positive quotes and sayings to keep the dialog open.  The hope is that when students view the murals theyrevisit those tools and skills that they heard so often when they were young.  Teens need to know that they are in the majority when they choose not to use alcohol, drugs or tobacco. We keep the panels consistent in size, color and design to brand our murals for FAB.The exposed 2" plywood which is painted black creates a self frame border around the tiles.

Would you like to run a tile painting day at your place of business? We will come and run it for you free of charge for 1 hour.  ( Extended hours offered if you feel you will have more than 50 people painting tiles.)  We would charge you $6 per tile and if you like we can mount them on the painted plywood backing for an additional fee.  A 50% materials deposit is requested prior to your event.

22"x 28" cut and sanded plywood painted black, holes drilled, glue, decorative wire  & hanger @ $60
*paint other than black add $30 per panel
Total: $180 *add $30 for paint other than black

If you would like to have your children create tiles and mount them to the plywood
creating a family mural the price is as follows:
12 (6") tiles at $8 each = $96
22" x 28" cut and sanded plywood painted black, holes drilled, glue, decorative wire & hanger @$60
*paint other than black add $30 per panel
Total: $156  *add $30 for paint other than black.

the BARRINGTON PUBLIC LIBRARY  in MARCH.

OUR NEWEST COMMUNITY PARTNER IS BRUEGGER'S BAGELS  IN BARRINGTON RI
BRUEGGER'S is committed to participating in the community.They will display FAB TILE MURALS attheir new location on County Road in Barrington RI  BRUEGGER'S will be hosting a TILE PAINTING EVENT on SATURDAY DECEMBER 5th at their BAKERY from 1-5PM  TILE PAINTING IS FREE!  Tiles will be added to murals whichwill adorn the walls of BRUEGGER'S.  We are so happy to be
working with BRUEGGER'S and excited for the opportunity to decorate their new space with student art for FAB!

We collaborate with the Bayside Family YMCA and run multiple activities throughout the year.  We will add art enrichment programs in January 2010.  We offer skateboarding clinics, every Wednesday through October 15th from 4:30-5:15PM taught by high school volunteer skateboarders.  Friday Night Hoops begins November 6th from 9:30-11PM open to all middle school and high school students.  Pick up games, round robin style.  Come with a team or play with another, $3 non-members, $2 members.  Please have proper ID.
