Paint a tile for FAB which will be added to murals used to adorn the new BRUEGGER'S on County Road in Barrington.
This event is FREE! Also BRUEGGER'S will be donating a portion of the days profit to THE BAYSIDE FAMILY YMCA!
FAB (For Anything But) Tile Painting for Mobile Murals to be displayed throughout the state representing FAB's mission statement. Students can have a full rich social life without alcohol or drugs. FAB was created by students to promote activities to keep kids involved with others who choose not to use alcohol, drugs or tobacco. Paint your tile representing your FAB, whatever it is your interested in, whatever makes you happy! It can be family, friends, hobby, location, a design with a positive quote, or anything you can think of. We ask for a $6 donation per tile, tiles will be mounted on plywood creating mobile murals which will be adorning multiple locations throughout the state in 2009! Come in to paint any day, Monday-Friday between 1 and 5PM.
Would you like to create a FAB Mural at your school or facility? We can offer the reduced rate of $6 per tile if you will pass along our info for FAB! You can mount your tiles on walls or we would suggest a plywood backing. The plywood allows you to move your murals should you need to. Don't want to do the work yourself? We will be happy to help. We can mount your tiles on 22"x28" painted, self framed plywood with 12 tiles per panel. We charge $50 per panel (fee includes wood, primer/black paint/glue/labor). $60 for 28"x28" square panel which holds 16 6" tiles. Panels can be hung with screws in the pre-drilled holes in each corner or wire from the top as in our pictures.
If you would like to create a mural for your family, group or other event (not
FAB related) the fee for tiles would be $10 each ($20 per tile for custom/meaning you ask us to design tiles for you) and $75 per mural for cut/sanded/painted black 22"x28" plywood backing. ($85 for 28"x28" panel which holds 16 6" tiles.)
